Bender Isolated Power Systems are depended on by thousands of healthcare facilities in over 40 countries. Isolated power panels (IPPs), line isolation monitors (LIMs), and accessories are installed in NFPA 99 defined "wet procedure locations," including ORs, ICUs, Cath Labs, LDRs, and more.
Bender power isolation transformers provide isolated power to electrical systems in operating rooms and other critical care areas, often leveraging ground isolation transformers for enhanced safety. Utilizing the latest technology, Bender equipment ensures that electrical ground faults are detected and located quickly and automatically, in compliance with the latest standards and code requirements. Isolated power panels are UL1047 listed and designed and manufactured in the USA.
Bender series GPM ground and power modules provide a combination of hospital-grade power receptacles and ground jacks, ensuring both reliable power distribution and ground fault protection to meet the needs of general and critical care areas. Straight blade (single or duplex) and twist-to-lock receptacles may be provided. Also available are hospital-grade ground cords to facilitate the implementation of an equipotential environment.
Ground and power modules are designed in strict compliance with UL467, UL50, the NFPA 70 (National Electric Code), and NFPA 99.
NFPA 99 requires that line isolation monitor (LIM) and ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) tests be conducted at regular intervals. Our testing equipment assists in testing both the line isolation monitor and ground fault circuit interrupter and helps to ensure your facility and its appliances pass all of the required compliance regulations.
